We are looking for Analysts for our M&A advisory practice based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Successful candidates will be mature individuals who work well in teams, are eager to learn and can maintain high levels of attention to detail under pressure. Analysts focus on:

• Supporting deal execution teams
• Assisting in the development of detailed financial models and valuation
• analyses
• Conducting industry and company research
• Preparing presentation materials for active engagements and marketing activities

Successful candidates will have:

• A strong academic record from a top undergraduate program
• Up to three years of relevant work experience (pre-MBA level)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to conceptualize and clearly
• present complex ideas in writing (in presentation form and standard prose)
• using insightful charts and graphs for support
• Aptitude for quantitative analysis, including financial modeling – prior
• experience is not a requirement, but must be comfortable with manipulating
• data in Excel
• Desire to move to a hands-on, entrepreneurial boutique bank environment
• with a flat organizational structure and the ability to work well on a team
• with limited supervision
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and the maturity to interact with
• senior bankers and senior management of client firms
• Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to work long hours
