MergeGlobal Appoints Edward P. (Ned) Moritz as a Principal Advisor

Arlington, Virginia, December 2nd, 2008 - MergeGlobal,
the financial and strategic consulting firm, announced today that Edward P. (Ned) Moritz has
joined the firm as a Principal Advisor. Mr. Moritz will advise MergeGlobal's clients on matters
related to the North American trucking and international multi-modal freight transportation industries.
Ned Moritz brings more than 30 years experience in the multi-modal freight transportation industry to
the MergeGlobal team. During his 20-plus years as a corporate level executive at Con-Way, Inc., Mr.
Moritz developed extensive expertise in marketing, pricing and operations in the North American trucking
sector, and in particular the less-than truckload segment. He also has a deep understanding of multimodal
freight transportation, having been instrumental in developing several new end-to-end multimodal product
offerings during his career at Con-Way.
Prior to joining Con-way's predecessor companies, Mr. Moritz spent six years at the American Trucking
Associations, the trucking industry's lobbying organization, where he advanced the trucking industry's
interests in dealings with Interstate Commerce Commission, the U.S. Department of Transportation and the
United States Congress.
A veteran of the US Air Force, Mr. Moritz received a bachelors degree in transportation and a MBA in finance
from the University of Maryland.
